Sunday School Updates

(1) GIFT BASKET COLLECTION:  1 MORE SUNDAY TO BRING IN YOUR DONATION (NOV 27th)

We are collecting items for our Gift Basket Raffle for our annual Sunday School Christmas Party. We would like every student to donate one (1) item for a class basket.
Donations will be collected in each classroom, and we will come around each Sunday to pick up all items during Sunday School.

We will be putting together the baskets on Sunday December 5th from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm in the church hall foyer. All parents are invited to help. If you have extra baskets, containers, filler, bows, cellophane….you are welcome to donate these items, too, as we will need them to put the baskets together.

Raffle tickets will be sold at the party:   $1 each ticket, 6 for $5, 13 for $10, 30 for $20.

See list below for donation suggestions.

(2) CLOTHING / COAT COLLECTION:  4 SUNDAYS TO BRING IN YOUR DONATIONS (NOV 27th, DEC 4th, DEC 11th, DEC 18th)

As in the past, the Sunday School will be participating in a Christmas Collection. We will be collecting brand new scarves, mittens, gloves and hats (in both adult and children’s sizes) for local charities. Please bring donated items to the church hall where there will be a box labeled “Christmas Collection.” Our Collection will begin November 27, 2011, and will continue on December 4, 11 and December 18.

The Sunday School is also collecting used winter coats and jackets that will be given to the Watertown Middle School as part of their annual winter coat drive. The coats and jackets will be dry cleaned by Anton’s Cleaners, free of charge.

Please contact John Aftandilian (617-484-3090, jaa@concins.com) if you have any questions, or if you would like to make a monetary donation.
